Is there pure men sport or women sport?

My French friend joined in a pilates course in university, he was only guy in the class. When he arrive, everyone give a gaze to him! He feel quite embarrassed and upset! Later he tell me that, I also wonder about is that pilates only for girls?

i don't think so. Because one of my friend also joined pilates class. and also, there is no specific sport for female or male when it comes about pilates. :) same like ballet right, not only female, there's also male too (CMIIW) :)

No pilates is for male and female it's just a bit like yoga it's mainly females who do it. I went to a class with my boyfriend but nobody stared at him for doing pilates. We didn't go back as we didn't like it. I'll stick to my yoga.
