My sister is a registered nurse and so are my three cousins. I have friends who are commerce graduate who is taking up nursing or special education for the reason of going abroad. Are you one of them? Are you planning to go abroad as well? Do you think that working abroad is beneficial? Is the high compensation the real intention?

I am one of those who is work abroad. It was four years ago at this time in my counrty wasn't too much job for citizens and obviously for right money so I decided go ahead. My aim destination was UK and it was best decision of my life. Now even for minimum wage I can afford for normal life of my family. But the main problem is'be careful where are you going to live becuse of WHO ARE YOU'

Got it. That's what who are you means... Thanks... Anything in life is a risk, it is not just because we are in here or out there... Life is a risk, only courageous people dare to try and then most probably succeed.

I try explain on my example. I am a polish guy live with my family in Northern Ireland, a problem here is with religion i am christian but people here mostly are protestants and they hate other christians. People live in separtly in thier areas i mean english protestants have own place to live, schools, churches. At the moment this problematic diffence is slowly disappearing but i still won't live in place where my windows may be broken with stone or my house may be painted with awful words or my car burnout at night. Have more question?

It's always my dream to work abroad to help my family and relatives in a way! I am not yet working but waiting for some documents! i can say that nowadays with our present condition, it is always beneficial for me to work abroad since what i earn in a year there, i will just earn in a month here! Obviously for majority who decided to work here and some were even far from their loved ones, compensation was the ultimate reason!

Going abroad means looking for greener pastures and there are better opportunities abroad than locally. Still, I am pretty earthbound myself and do not care to uproot myself or my family to find some greener pastures. I prefer to live where I am and be a local boy.hehe

i don't intend to work abroad. although i have a foreign degree, i opt to work here in the philippines. i don't want to sound patronizing, but there are many people who have decided to work here and make a difference. i have nothing against those who want to work abroad. they too have noble intentions. it is prefectly justified to work there for the future of their children and family.

I admire your decision. When I was in my elementary days I was very patriotic. I promised not to be a frog leaper. But as for now,I cannot deny the fact that I am now open to it but not really into it.

hello there, I am a nursing student here in the Philippines and I need to say that I really need to go to abroad because my relatives are already there. I am already on my fourth year in nursing. Still, I am searching for ways to have some extra allowance here on the net so that I will have some budget for my books because Nursing is so expensive and it really needs time and determination. I am just hoping that I could go abroad someday so that everything will be worth it. have a nice day and enjoy what you are doing... ^_^

I am not a nurse... but my sister is... she and her family are now in the US... she is working there as a registered nurse for 5 years now... and to work abroad... particularly in the US... was her goal when she took up nursing... and it really paid off... since her kids are studying there... or simply... they are enjoying a good life...

hi adore. good for your sister and cousins. i hope everything works out well for all of them. i have plans of going abroad myself but have since put everything on hold until i get things ironed out. i would really prefer to stay here in the country and work but i see no reason to stay since the economy is really in a tailspin. as much as i want to point out the good things that we have in the country, the negatives far oveshadow the positives.
