help! We have purchased 2 Baby Chou Chou dolls and can't get either one to operate. New batteries, double/triple checked to see if they are in properly - nothing

Return to the store. They have to give you replacement. Don't you have CONSUMER FORUM IN YOUR PLACE. Write a letter to them if you donot get the replacement. In fact, the store-owner looses nothing. He in turn gets the replacement from manufacturer. Besides getting replacement of the dolls, you can even claim expenses incurred (travel, purchase of accessoriees etc.)and the store should reimburse.
