How many times have you moved and where!

Moving is fun for some and not so fun for others. When I first moved out of my house that was fun----away from my drunken mother, sharing an apartment with my best friend, both working at the same job. What more can you ask for at 18. Then I met my 1st husband; we shared our apartment then moved to our house and within 6 months were married and found out a week later I was going to have a baby. We moved two more times the last being in to our 1st house at the age of 20. Moved to Japan a couple years later for 6 years- what an experience that was. Unfortunately it ruined our marriage, not japan but our lifestyle. Moved back to the states in with my sister into a house she chose for us, we moved again to a house that we actually fit in, and then I moved into an apartment as she could not help with rent, housework, or anything. I moved 4 times that year. About 4 years ago I moved into a house here in Washington that I bought all by myself- yes I am proud. We still live there and are constantly improving it. Life always gets better. How many times have you moved and where did you end up..

I moved 4 times before the age of 22. Then I moved into the house that I live in now. I have now lived here for 15 years and am proud to say that I own it free and clear. Although, I am going to rent it out this fall and probably move to a different state. Yes, that's right, starting over again. LOL

Crazy. Doesnt it feel good to own your home? I do not own my house free and clear, but I am working on it. Starting all over is amazing. Life does happen..

Do not even get me started. My life has been one long series of moves. I am so used to moving that I get itchy feet after a couple of years. It drives my husband crazy. First, I moved 14 times before I graduated from high school. I lived in a dorm while in college, but also did international exchanges in England and Spain. After college I lived in four more places before working for Club Med. They sent me to Mexico, Florida, St. Lucie and the Dominican Republic. I moved to Japan for two years, back to California where I lived in three different places, back to Japan where I lived in three more places (during 4 years)and got married. I then moved to Arizona with my Japanese husband and lived there for a record of 9 years. Last year we moved to Portland, Oregon. How many times is that? (I'm counting now)33 not including the dorms. Yikes! No wonder I'm a little screwed up. :)

I have moved a total of 6 times and I am only 17. The first time I moved was when I was 7 years old. We left behind my moms side of the family and my friends and school in Ontario, Canada to move about 2000 miles west to Alberta. While we were in Cochrane, Alberta we had moved into another house. After a total of 3 years and 2 houses in Alberta, we moved back to Ontario. A few months ago I moved back out to Alberta because I was having problems with my family (fighting and the such). I moved back to Ontario (with my parents) just after about 2 weeks or so. Since I was only at my parents house for a few days I do not count that time as moving. The next time I had moved was a few days after I had gotten back from Alberta. I moved just on the other side of town. I was ALSO only there for about 10 days or so and ended up moving back in with my parents. I have already had enough experiences with moving!
