Who is your favorite historical figure and why? Mine would have to be Elizabeth Tudor. The virgin queen. She had everybody on pins and needles for ever and never gave in. She made mistakes, but was always strong in what she thought mattered. She lived through so much turmoil just from family alone, sister, cousin, mom, dad...... But she always bounced back strong! Soooooo, who is your favorite and why?

Benito Mussolini, he boost the moral of the Italians and brought them to the greatness..But sadly, he was termed as a villain. No wonder, its the west that categorized him as a villain.. But to me, he's not.

Hi laglen. I have more than one but I think that I can say that is Cleopatra (I write in my language). She isn't a beauty but she could involved any man she desired only with her intelligence. She has tryed all to save her country and her crown. I think that she is a very strong woman.

I would say Henry VIII. All anyone sees of him anymore is a gross, overweight and over-sexed maniac. He was, however, an accomplished musician, author and patron of the arts. He was a leader of the Reformation. He was truly an amazing man.

Actually, i never thought a single person but to really think of someone to name, i think emperor Marcus Aurelius or emperor Kang Xi. Its hard to choose the only one name the stands out. Another person Im thinking is queen Hatshepsut. As for Marcus Aurelius, i admired him because of the positive perception of man. As for Kang Xi, he was one of the monarchs who rule the longest and he too is benevolent. he ordered building a church inside the forbidden city for the jesuit priests who work as astronomers of the court. Hatshepsut was the first known female head of state in history.
