Do you really believe that there is a food shortage in the USA?

I have been wondering this over this past week. I know that there could be a lot of factors like the rising cost of fuel to run the farm equipment in the field, and the lack of the hard working bees, but is it really as bad as the government says it is. I wonder if they don't say things to make people panic over something as food. My family wouldn't see much difference because we are on food stamps, but they just won't go as far for us. What do you think, is there really a food shortage and what food would be more short? Thanks ahead of time.

Well, I dont know about a shortage, but the increase in prices due to the rising cost of fuel to transport and farm it may make it seem so. I havent noticed any empty shelfs in the stores.

Good question... One day it is in the headlines ( here in Canada) and the next day I wanted to read more about the subject and .. nothing!! So is it all fabricated?? Is the weather fabricated?? Is the wool being pulled over our eyes??. We are living in interesting times and hopefully the Truth will come out .. I refuse to buy the cheeses I love now as they are too expensive.. So ,in essence our quality of life has diminished.. purposely , I believe.. Flamenca
