Morning to all! My baby is 3 1/2 months ld and it seems like she is teething. I read somewhere that they can start teething anywhere between birth and 1 year, but normally they start at 6 months. Have any of you moms out there hab early teethers? I am not quite sure if she is though, she has all the typical signs, except her gums are not swollen or red? Could it be something else?

my daughter was an early teether. she started at 2 months old, but it still took them a while to come in. she got her first one at 3 months. it's okay though. get some teething tablets or some teething drops and stick it under her tounge. if it is teething that should help with the pain and her crying. if that's not the case, you might wanna check with a doctor to see if she has colic. it could very well be. in those cases they do have tablets for that to, which calms them down a little, but you also need to find something that will soothe her until the pain goes away. for my daughter, taking her outside was the only way to calm her down until it was over. her's lasted for about 4 months to. good luck and keep us posted. God bless

It's definitely possible. My friend's son got his first tooth at 2 months. My son started teething around 3 months, but did not get his first tooth until almost 7 months!

i did read a post of someone who's son was teething around this time too. don't worry, keep checking on your daughter. i'm sure if she's teething, you'll soon see proof of it. good luck.
