I placed 5th in a GetRef competition and....

because I placed 5th I got a 1 month Gold membership and 10 free credits. :)
It was for "Big Blog Contest 3". First off, I posted it on my blog and thought that it was worth a shot. Then the owner "Jay" had scored them but couldn't find my entry because I only posted my blog link and not the direct link to that post. After I did that I got scored at 18/40. Doesn't sound like a great score, but it got me my 5th place.
So I knew I had 5th place, but never did I think I would get anything. I'm so pleased!!! Gold membership is awesome because you get double credits when you join programs and you get random referrals.

I won a competition with them at one time. I don't know if Gold is worth paying but it's slightly better than regular membership. I have gotten quite a few referrals to TreasureTrooper.com on there and one my referrals thanked me for helping them find treasure trooper so that was good.

Well, I think if you are going to be active on getref, that investing in gold can really help. You are investing $5 that will likely make you a lot more than that, but if you aren't promoting the right programs, it won't help you. The same thing happened to me with SwatCash. A member joined and was hesitant to even try it. Next thing you know they have made over $200 in offers alone and I think their total is about $500 including bonuses and referral earnings.

Wow, congratulations. I have trouble just getting one referral! I think I do need to start a blog with some links on it. I might get a few, but there are so many scams out there too and I guess alot of people want to earn money fast and don't get only a few people are able to do that.
Anyway...congratulations again! You got any cake or ice cream at his party? lol

I agree that it's difficult to find referrals. A blog does help, but only if you are using it correctly. Have you tried getref? For very little work you could get referrals from there as well. If you are interested I can give you my link.
