America came in Asia and Middle East for fighting against terrorism. President Bush attacked on Afghanistan first for Osama Bin Ladin but he could not catch him. Then he attacked on Iraq and caught Saddam Hussain and hanged him. Now he is trying to dominate Iran and after Iran his next target will be Pakistan. So do you think this is a war against terrorism or a war for Oil? I am not saying all this because i am muslim. I am saying because reallity is different from what President bush says. I want to ask where is Osama bin ladin? And Saddam hussian's government has been finished. So now what is he doing in Iraq? Please share your ideas? Thanks

Honestly, I would like to believe that we are there to find and fight terrorism, however, the facts point in a different direction. It is quite obvious that we are in an oil crisis right now (when Bush took office, a gallon of gas cost $1.45... it is currently at $3.45 a gallon!). I believe that going into Afghanistan was merely a step to get into Iraq. The next step will be to get into Iran. That is the ultimite goal of this administration. The goal is to get into Iran, oust Ahmadinejad and take over the oil fields, or at least put someone in power that is friendly with the US so we can get our oil for cheaper than what the rest of the OPEC nations are currently charging. As to your question about Bin Laden... Who knows where he is. Our government is currently working on taking more and more of our rights away here in America, all in the name of "National Security", and we have been willing, thus far, to freely give those rights up. Maybe we should focus on find the actual threats to our nation instead of using fear tactics to control the people of this nation. What are we doing in Iraq? We are setting up to move into Iran. That is our target. We are merely waiting for them to make some gesture that we can construe as hostile, so we can move our troops in there. There is a way for Congress to stop all of this though. The President isn't the one who actually gets to declare war. That is a Legislative power under the Constitution of the U.S. Congress has not declared this "conflict" in Iraq or in Afghanistan a "war". All Congress really has to do is cut the funding for the "war". This would remedy the President over-stepping his bounds of power. However, it is unlikely that Congress would cut the funding, removing our troops from the "conflict" before there is a definite end to the "conflict". It would "show" the "terrorist" that are legitimate threats that we are vulnerable, and if they keep picking away at us, we will eventually go away. That is not the message that our country wants to show to the world. That would just create a big target on the face of the United States, a target that many organizations and even countries would start aiming for. In reality, there is no true way to stop this conflict from escalating, except for getting what it is that the President wants, which is a conflict with Iran. It is unlikely that a conflict with Iran will arise anytime in the near future, however, I do see it happening prior to Bush leaving office.

I wish I could answer your questions but I've been wondering the same things for several years now! I'm so afraid there are plans already in the works to invade Iran next; I hope and pray that I'm wrong but I wouldn't put anything past this Administration. I'd love to know where Osama BinLaden is also but Bush has said he doesn't think about him much anymore so I guess he's been forgotten. Annie
