Has anybody self published?

I recently self-published a collection of short stories using blurb.com. They give you a free piece of software that you can drag and drop text, photos etc into. You only have to but one copy of your book and then it goes for sale in their book store at whichever price you set. I was really pleased with how the book turned out and will definitely use them again. I'm familiar wit Lulu, but have never used their service, so no help there I'm afraid.
