How do you stay healthy?

I dont. Sadly. I tried. I smoke, I drink, I eat junk food for breakfast, lunch, dinner. I dont really exercise as much as I should. And Tips? HELP! I dont want to die young but I am living the life of a person WANTING to die young.

I jog, I drink lots of water, eat lots of food, I make friends, I smile a lot, I laugh at at all times. Don't think of dying, the more you think of dying, the more hopeless you'll become. Cheer up! I suggest you do walking every morning, then greet with a smile everybody you meet. Even if you get don't receive a reply, just ignore, continue on doing the greeting. You will never know, how you have inspired a person by just greeting them. It is not just being happy alone, it is making others happy as well,. Give happiness and it will come back to you. Give joy it will come back. Give a smile and you will receive it back. Give life your laughter and it will echo right back to you! Stay happy and stay healthy.

If I am unable to do any exercises, just by smiling and laughing, I am able to be healthy? Is that what you saying? I wish I could jog and exercise, but I just cant find the right time to do any. I work 730am till 11pm most of the time. :(

I don't jog often now. My work doesn't allow me to now a days, but i do it on sundays, and where there is no work such as holidays. It's more on making it as a habit. If you're use to it you will always want to jog. Don't do it abruptly, next month you can schedule it. So when next month will come, you have to oblige yourself to jog, despite of having a hectic sked. Yes, I tell you, if you have that disposition of being happy, being at peace with yourself, with the world and with life, you can be healthy. Worries and sorrows really adds stress, emotional and nervous breakdown. When you are happy you will have a different attitude and perception about life. Smile life is all worthwhile!

the main thing you should do is find yourself a sport that you really like! this will make you do exercise and then if you get into it you will want to be more healthy to perform better during games or whatever you are doing. This may make you stop smoking/eating alot of junk food. good luck! *gives motivation

I "use" to jog and "use" to go to the gym right after work... but my job consume me and I cant find the right time to go and from being consume to my job, I gain weight, and from gaining weight i end up having extremely low self esteem. I enjoy swimming(use to), and I running. I know you comment is good for me, but guess, my job is dragging me down from doing anything anymore.Thank qdietz!

Drinking lots of water, taking a multi vitamin and even a walk around the block a day is start! And of course quit smoking! But you have that many times before and I know how hard it is to quit....I have been try to quit smoking for the last years and it ain't happening!! Also, you say you eat junk food....there are healthy junk foods that you can get at natural food stores that are much better for you and they dont taste awful....

I suggest that you read the ebook "The Truth About Six Pack Abs." It's a good source of information on eating right and exercising. You need to get rid of your addictions. Imagine yourself as your perfect self, and make a goal to get there. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
