parents have to do much less for their children today than they used to do . clothes can be bought ready made, washing can go to the landry, food can be bought cooked, canned or preserve, bread is baked and delivered by the baker, milk arrives on the doorstep, meals can be had at a restaurant, the wokers' canteen, and the shool dining-room

well i still prefer the old fashion way, but not all. my wife still cooks are emal. well our son is just two years old. we really eat out every once a week to treat my wife because i know it is not easy to think of what food to cook everyday. when my son starts school i know my wife will still prepare sandwiches for him. i think that is much sweet than just working all day just to give what your children needs and not seeing what they are up to.

yeah, i also think like that too and its especially happened to the couples who should work out side both of them. in this matter, i don't mind if everything able to get instant cause you know that technology always going advance in our life.
but something that should not gonna chane its about the parents caring and attention for their children. it can be replaced by anything in this world

Most parents have to have two incomes to be able to pay for all those ready made things and that takes them both away from their children, so the shortage is in the time they have to spend with their kids.
I don't think it's an improvement.
