I am surprised!

A dear friend asked me if I could mess with minds and I couldn't refuse...So, here it is! :-)
I usually visit with my old friends profiles every two or four weeks who I think are no more active, just to see if they have returned or added anything new. So, today was my visit day. While there are a couple or so who returned few weeks ago without adding anything in particular, most were still inactive, some for as long as a year.
But, I had another observation, too, nearly all profles that I visited, were visited by someone else too, in the last 24 hours, as there were two (2) profile visits on each with only two with one, that would be mine. While I can guess, sometimes, who the visitor might be, or even had predicted, at times, I was surprised today as I wasn't expecting any.
So, my dear mylot fellows, do you ever get unexpected surprises while roaming about mylot land? It does not have to be the same thing, but anything? Are they good surprises or you feel bad? Do you try to guess, who, how or why it could have happened?

It's good that you can get all surprises at one place and don't need to go around searching for them. I don't know if I'll get many responses but I am glad that I was able to respect a dear friend! Thanks for sharing!:-)

Since I have been gone for some time, I am getting all kinds of surprises! Every time I come across an old friend I am delighted.
Thebiggest surprises are some of the discussions that get deleted, or don't get deleted that should have been. Nothing really surprises me here, i have seen a lot.

It was sure a delight to have you back here. I, too, get surprised when some discussions are deleted which do not violate any guidelines but other explicitly violating stay. I think, it's just a matter of which are reported and which are not. Like you, there are not many things that surprise me now, but every once in a while, I get a surprise. I hope this community will continue to benefit from your contributions now!:-)

I don't really get around mylot much or anything at all. All I do is answer discussions that happens to be in my email and nothing more. I may be ashamed to admit that I don't visit profiles of any of my friends most of the time. The only time that I may have visited their profile was when I added them as a friend. So to answer your question, I haven't been surprised yet and I may well be if ever I get around to making the effort of looking at my friends profiles.

I know that you are not as active now as you have been earlier, but every time you come, it's a pleasure to have your opinion and thoughts. I, too, do not often go to profiles now, but I do wish my friends to return, so in a hope, I go to check there profiles every now and then. Thank you for sharing!:-)

Deep, yes; mysterious, I don't know. There have been times when I could predict, because the user(s) I responded to had a habit of seeing profiles in depth. So, when I presented strong opinions, I was expecting their visits to my and my friends' profiles. There is nothing to worry about it though, profiles are public here and anybody can check. It was just an interesting observation for me especially when it was unexpected! You are right that good way outweigh the bad. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Hi Kamran,
I have had a cold and been dragging around for two weeks. Today I finally went to the doctor and was told that I have strep throat. Yeah!
I often look at my friends' profiles to see the discussions they have started and responded to. Sometimes I see something interesting; a link to a website or some photos. I can't say that I have been particularly surprised by anything, but perhaps I am just not looking very hard.

I am sorry about your health and that you were not able to give us the pleasure of your company. I noticed that you aren't active and was getting concerned. It's good at least that I now know. I hope you get well soon enough!:-)
When I don't see a friend's activity, I visit their profiles just to see if I missed something. So, last time when I responded to your discussions was by visiting your profile:-)
I hope you get only pleasant surprises, as mine are for the most part! Thanks for sharing!:-)
