Do you wash your hands appropriately after going to the bathroom?

I know that there are rules to washing your hands after using the bathroom. I know that you have to rub it with soap through a whole verse of some song and then wash them under hot water. I do wash my hands every time I leave the bathroom, but I don't think I wash them long enough. I feel clean even though I know I'm not washing my hands the correct way. Does anyone actually stand at the sink for 30 seconds or more and actually wash their hands after using the bathroom?

I try to do it the appropiate way that I was taught. Is there a particular song that I dont know about? You are doing good, some folks dont even remember to was theirs. I try to follow the rules, when I am not in a hurry, sometimes I stand there longer than 30 sec. I dont think anyone should not wash their hands properly after usuing the bathroon.

I guess it could be any song as long as it's a certain length. I think the song I heard was you are my sunshine?

i always make sure to get my paper towel to dry my hands before i even start. then i don't touch anything with a bare hand after that. once i start to wash my hands, they don't touch anything-taps, door handles, paper towel lever, etc, because as my best friend says "not everyone touches the door, but everyone touches the door to get out" if there are no paper towels and only hand dryers, then i don't even bother to dry them. i use the paper towel to open the door-and if there is only a hand dryer, then i play "the door game" in which someone opens the door and you walk out before the door closes without touching it.

Oh yes and so do my kids! I even use hand sanitizer which may not be necessary but better to be safe than sorry!

indeed. not only after using it - but also prior to using it (unless I have to go so bad the delay and sound of running water could prove disastrous ) then make sure to not touch the faucet knob or door or even paper towel lever after washing them.

Definitely! We should wash our hands every time we're going to the bathroom. To minimize the risk of having bacterias we may had when we went to the bathroom. Especially when we're in a public toilet.
