Should I declare bankruptcy or not?

Here's my dilemma...yesterday, I applied for disability payments from Social Security (I have MS and have hidden symptoms that prevent me from working a regular job). This is a huge disappointment for me, since 10 years ago I was working 2 to 3 jobs at once! I have hardly ANY income coming in, my home is being foreclosed on and I owe money to everyone anyway. I'm considering it, but don't want to start over in this viscious cycle again (I was forced to declare once before, nearly 10 years ago). I am already selling stuff (I was an avid collector when I was married of 'stuff'), hopefully selling my car and doing in-home parties (they tend to last about 3 to 5 hours, about all the time I can handle) 1 to 2 times a week, for about $120 each party. Has anyone declared under the new rules, and if so, can you shed some light on them for me? I'm at my wit's end and just don't know what to do now... and no, my family cannot help me out.
