What is your opinion about Bush's statement?

President Bush recently has stated that the reason for the inordinate increase in the prices of food grains is the new and voracious eating habits of Indians and also Chinese. He says that the new growth symptoms in these countries are welcome, but it dearly causes unbearable increase in the prices of food grains throughout the world. This statement has evoked large scale protest here in India. Recently the UN have accused the US and the EU countries of curtailing grain production and utilizing grain fields for the cultivation of crops used for production of bio-diesel. Do you agree with the president's statement? Do you think the accusation of the UN is substantial?
