when i first played the sims, i had made this little house behind my regular house that had a fireplace and a couch, bear skin rug...you know, all romantic like. a few days later i was playing and i started to hear a lot of screaming but i didn't know what it was or where it was coming from. i searched my property and saw that the fireplace had started a fire and one of the neighbors was on fire. i tried to help but alas, she perished right there in my little romantic hideaway. then i got to thinking...what else could we do to these fun but sometimes annoying little sims... i've heard of people building houses with no doors, no bathroom, etc. what do y'all do, if anything???

My niece ignored her sims child until a social worker came and took it away. It was pretty funny. I never would have thought that would happen on Sims.

omg!! i didn't know that could happen. i don't usually have a family because i can't keep up with more than one sim at a time...lol.

You name it, I have done it. All in the name of writing an album for the Sims 1 site. :D

I had a bad habit of letting my sim burn up. either by the fire place or because they had lousy cooking skills. I would also make them the lazyest sims on the face of the earth and the house would be trashed, and the neighbours would start cleaning up.

That has happened to me before with my sims, untill I found out that no matter where you put anything with a fire (be it a stove, fireplace, open fire, etc) you need to put a smoke alarm near it, and be careful what you put near the fire, that way its less of a chance that anything will catch on fire.

I've tried burning them. Taking the ladder out of the pool. A really really small pool. I do start to fell bad and eventually put the ladder back in. I think it is funny. I want to play now and get kids and neglect them and watch the social worker come!

I've done all those things for certain Sims that I didn't like, like taking away the doors so they are locked in a place with no comforts or necessities. I've let them drown in a pool after taking away the ladder. Most of the time though, I start to feel sorry for them and let them go on with their lives.
