i'm happy that we went to the beach just to take a weekend break. i love to play and soak a little in the water but not too deeper coz i can't swim lol but what the heck?! my day was ruined because of my period lolz i don't wanna soak in water while i'm having my period because i'm not very comfortable with it and it's kinda gross/disgusting for me. who knows, if my pads would just float in the water since i don't bring any cycling shorts with me lol it's very embarrassing if that really happens. all that i did was to take some pictures since i don't want to soak in the water while i'm having my period. like what i did remember for a couple of years a lady was doing some wind surfing (i'm not sure if that was really the term) then she was wearing her two-piece swim suit but most of the people noticed that her panty has a blood stain, i know that it's kinda embarrassing for her do you swim even if you have a period? are you comfortable with it? or does it bother you that much?

Hi rhane. Lol it is the terror of all the women. Well, when I go to the beach I use Tampax and I never have a problem with my period. Many years a go, when I'm teenager, Tampax don't exist only pads lol. So we used wadding inside and change it every 2 hours lol.

I really love to travel and so try hard not to let my period ruin a trip to the beach. I went around the world for just over a year and had the worry of whether my period would come when I had planned some activities around water. It was so annoying for it came in the middle of my trip to Kakuadu National Park. In order to still be able to swim I tried out using Tampax. It doesn't feel awfully comfortable but at least if I take some of these when I go traveling I don't have to miss out on the swimming and snorkeling that I love to do.

Hi dear rhane, it is rather sorry to know that you had missed the chance to swim in the sea water due to the uninvited friend. It was nice that you still could enjoy capturing pictures. Yeah, I was really upset several times as my whole plan was totally ruined by the unwelcome period, especially to have activities in the beach or by the river side and all sorts of activities related to water. I definitely would feel uneasy to swim or soak in the water during this uncomfortable period. You could just imagine when coming up from the water how embarrassed to see the reddish water flows down along the legs. Some of my friends did try to delay their periods by chewing some black peppers before the period. I haven’t tried this before so I wonder whether it really works.

I rarely go swimming anymore, but when I was a swimming fanatic, I would go no matter what. Instead of wearing a pad, I would use a tampon, its better for swimming, although not much else. I don't wear tampons normally, too afraid of getting toxic shock syndrome. But if I am swimming and it happens to be that time of the month, I will wear one for as long as I am in the water.

They should be. Tampons have been out for quite some time now.
