Have you tried these cleaning products?

I think I have discovered the best cleaning products EVER! We used to have iron in our hard water, which of course, caused the red staining of the sinks, toilets, tubs, showers..etc. I bought a different toilet bowl cleaner "The Works" Let me tell you.. it was the BEST. It got rid of the hard water ring, the rust stains and even the black ick at the bottom of hole inside the bowl. So I thought.. "Wow, this works so good on the toilets, I wonder how well it would do on my plastic shower." It worked wonderfully, no scrubbing involved at al... but OMG the fumes. It seems, I wasn't smart enough to read the warning label that told me not to use it anywhere else BUT the toilet. So I had to open windows, turn on fans, and evacuate my house for about two hours. While I was gone, I found "The Works" cleaner for the rest of the house. It works just as well to get the stubborn red out. It is amazing. You should try it if you also have hard water and/or iron in your water... it works great for other stains as well. The other miracle product I have discovered in Oxiclean Laundry stain remover. For my whites that have been turned red by the iron, I spray it on, let it soak over night, wash it and the red comes out without taking out any color that might be in the clothing. It also works miracles on set in stains. I had a shirt that I tried EVERYTHING to get the set in stains to come out (not bleach, because it is a beige shirt) nothing worked. Until I discovered the Oxiclean.. I sprayed it, let it sit for 2 days..then washed it and BOOM it was almost gone. I repeated it one more time.. and it is ALL out now. It is good for spot cleaning carpet too. I am sorry if I sound like an infomercial.. but I just had to share some good cleaning products with all of you who may not be aware of how well they work Do you or have you ever used these? Have you had as much success as I have?

Oops! The mere fact that the fumes were terrible with that "The Works" no doubt mean there's some kind of toxins...I don't use any of those kind of products anymore but have "gone green" and use natural products--best of all they are a LOT cheaper to use ...for instance a good natural all around cleaner is simple baking soda..yup baking soda--it works as well as any scouring powder and has no toxic chemical ingredients. Pure lemon juice is a good cleaner as well and a natural de-greaser. To unclog drains pour baking soda..about a full cup then add/pour white vinegar..it will fizzle, sizzle and unclog drains without toxic chemicals like in Drano..wait about fifteen minutes then turn on the hot water. To clean toilets...pour white vinegar and leave overnight...that will clean it up including stains..can also use the baking powder to clean. as for clothes...you can even add baking soda to your wash and will get stains out just as well.

Oxiclean is a great product! I am not sure how good it is for the environment, but it does get everything clean! I have used it for the laundry, the dishes, and it is a good spray for general cleaning!

Ya, my husband does not like to clean either! He loves oxiclean! It reminds him of this heavy duty cleaner he used to use right before he would move!
