How many times did you take the exam for your Driver's License before you passed

Did it just once, and I ahve been driving from the age of around 11, so I just went directly to licensing (RTO in India), filled up the form and appeared for the tests and passed them, That was about 27 years ago.

only once that tome also i didnt do well.but i was selected.

Ha ha, kudos to those of you who passed at first attempt. I only cleared mine at 6th attempt. I always had cold feet when it came to driving tests. Each test was disastrous as whatever mistake I could have made, I made them all. Imagine my jubilation when I finally passed! I walked away thinking I have met an angel disguised as examiner! To those who are still trying, don't give up!

I take it in a month, i better pass the first time.

I took my driver's license test twice.I should have taken 1 time only.In my first driving test,after I passed the first portion (which is the on the road driving testing skill )I was so confident and so excited that I forgot to hit my clutch to reduce the speed that made me hit the parking pole,this is the cos which made me failed the first driving test and resit for a second time. So, do not over confident and over excited when taking an exam, stay alert until the last minute !!
