Actually my sister just finished her schooling and is looking for a college and my uncle wanted me to go to Bangalore for her college admission. well i have never visited the city and lol was happy and excited but here creeps in jealousy. One of my relatives jusst stepped in and said why Me why not him And now he is going with her and not me. I am not angry or disappointed but just amused for i know that he doesn't know much about the city and on the other hand i have plenty of friends to help me. S so sheer jealousy involved i feeel nothing else.

Well, I didn't quite get what you are trying to say. Are you saying that your relative felt jealous because your uncle wanted you to go to Bangalore for your sister's admission and not him? Is he also jealous coz you have plenty of friends and he doesn't? Although I don't exactly get the situation you are trying to portray, I can say that jealousy is a sort of natural human reaction. In a way, it is good because it makes you try to become better. On the other hand, it can be terrible when taken to the extreme, and the result is depression, loneliness, anger, and low self-esteem. I guess jealous people also need a little assurance that they are wanted. For example, I used to feel jealous when my Mom made much of my brother who was doing better at school than me. I would have felt secure and happy if only my Mom has said that although I did not do good in school, I still had my worth and was valuable as a human being. Cheers!
