I bought the second season of MacGyver last night. I thought I had seen every MacGyver episode ever made. Boy, was I in for a wonderful surprise! I actually saw an episode for the first time. It was a real treat, because I had no idea how Mac was going to get out of the situations he got in. Have you ever found a treasure within a video collection? Or any collection, for that matter?

I received season 1 for Christmas this year after my son learned that I liked the show so much. I have watched all 7 seasons minus a few episodes on cbs.com which is where I started watching in the first place. It got me hooked. There are a few episodes missing on cbs.com so it would be nice to be able to get the dvd sets and find those hidden treasures.

Awesome! I love when that happens. I have a pretty poor memory so...it happens quite often. :-) I used to love MacGyver. Still do. I am in the process of buying the series too. Can't wait to watch again! It was such an awesome show!

We had bought the Serenity series on DVD and we thought we had seen all the episodes. We had actually mises 2 of them and the set also included never before seen episodes as well.

I loved watching MacGyver. It was a great show and Richard Dean Anderson was fantastic in the role. I have had that happen though with a series. Usually though it is in reruns. I will flip it on and suddenly there will be one on that I don't remember ever seeing. I would think I'd seen them all and it is a pleasant surprise. I usually then rack my brains trying to figure out how or when I missed it originally but it's still fun. It makes it all fresh again in a way.

Awww MacGyver...we used to watch it My son Caleb that is 22 especially loved it. He wouldn't answer if you called him anything but MauGuybi..this is what he called himself.. couldn't say it properly. We had to cut his hair exactly like MacGyver's and he would always have peices of string, paper clips, bobby pins, and all kinds of odd stuff in his pockets 'case I gotta sabe someone!' Thanks for the walk down memory lane..I loved when the kids were little and so full of hope and promise and just knew anything was possible! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
