My fave is omelettes with lots of veggies ontop with salsa and cheese..my 10 yr old grandaughter isn't a fan of eggs and tends to just like bread/toast or biscuits so always have leftover eggs and then make scrambled for later and try to coach her to eat a bit.

What is the food obsession with today then hon? I could understand it if you were still on a diet but come on now! At least you have chosen something I like this time! I love eggs as do the kids and we have to buy 18 at a time (please bear in mind I only have 2 kids) and I have made them in so many ways! Boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, french toast, omelette anything that soesn't involve seafood really! lol My favourite way of doing eggs depends on my mood - which q bit like sparks swings quite often! xxx

well my son loves eggs whichever I cook it. Either I will make a cheese omelet with lots o cheese (he’s already becoming so chubby), or scramble eggs with onions, tomatoes and sausage or make French toast, or mix chunks of omelets with boiled potato and fry with whole concoction with some sauce or make spicy egg curry. He loves whatever has egg in it, no matter how mom cooks it.

Well Bella egg curry is a typical Indian dish which is both cheap and nutritious. Eggs being cheaper than fish and meat, we have it typically at month-ends when we are running short of cash (as usual). Now I don’t think you guys would like it coz it needs lots of spice and frying. Anyways, here goes my recipe for it: boil as many eggs as you want alongwith potatoes. Slit eggs sprinkle salt and fry in a wok. Keep in the serviing dish. Dice potatoes and fry them too. Next add some whole cumin to the hot oil in the wok, add some chopped onion & tomatoes, ginger, garlic and chilly paste alongwith turmeric powder & salt to taste. Fry the spices with a little water till the oil comes on top. Add potatoes, some water for the gravy and let it boil and thicken (10 mins). Add some powdered cloves and cinnamon (nice smell), take it off fire and pour the gravy and potatoes on the fried and slit eggs. Keep covered for sometime for the smell of cloves and cinnamon to assimilate. Quick and yummy with boiled rice. Now the gravy as mentioned above is the typical Indian curry base (with mild regional alterations). One can add fried fish, chicken or meat to it for fish curry and meat curry.

Every other morning I have 2 egg whites scrambled with a slice of cheese on a piece of 12 grain bread. (damn this diet) But I use eggs A LOT in cooking. From everything to my lasagna to cookies to fried rice. Now I just wish they made eggs that didn't give my boys gas.

Why is it that little kids love eggs so much? My baby brother would only eat eggs as a toddler. He'd eat other things only if it was with fried eggs as a side dish. but then he ended up frequently getting those big red swollen acne-like bumps that really hurt when you touch it (what are they called, those bumps?) and my mom got him on a absolutely-no-more-eggs diet. I like eggs too, but I know better than to eat too many everyday. I usually make them half boiled or make an omelet with minced smoked beef and shredded cheese and mushrooms

no, i don't think it's hives. hives are itchy, the one I'm talking about really hurts when it's touched and usually full of puss.

We go through a moderate amount of eggs. We usually use them in baking and cooking. We do have eggs occasionally for breakfast (I like them sunnyside up in my grits yum). I wish we lived in the country though so I could have some laying hens and have fresh eggs instead of store bought eggs. Some day this country girl living in the city is going to go back to her roots and move to the country. lol

I keep saying that too and haven't been given the opportunity. I would love to just go out and own a farm and grow our food and have a milk cow and laying hens. cut down on food costs. LOL!!! But somehow I don't think it would. LOL!!!!

i like eggs but not all the time, I have to crave them in order to eat them...Sometimes I'll just have soft boiled with finger toast, sometimes I'll make an over-easy egg sandwich and sometimes I'll have a cheese omelette...My kids make their own eggs when they want them...usually an omelette or scrambled The only time I DON'T allow eggs (or at least try to avoid anyone making them) is when my gf is here from Canada..she HATES them. The smell, the taste, the look...everything..but it stems from something that happened when she was little if I'm not mistaken...

My gram curses eggs and when she has to cook them for the kids. LOL!! She became allergic to them when she was pregnant with my aunt. So she loves then and to dip the toast in the yolk but can't eat them I think I would be downing benadryl before eating one. LOL!!! preemptive strike.

Eggs are my favourites and kids love it too. when we are in doubt, what to take for breakfast, egss become very handy and quick options. Though, I like scrambled eggs, but my first preference goes to 'Omellate'. Omellate with onion and tomato tastes very delicious. It can be put on a toast and enjoyed. Another dish, which we like preparing is egg curry, wherein boiled eggs are mixed with curry and cooked.

I don't love eggs. Well, they don't love me I should say. If I am eating them; I like mine cooked "over medium" (no runny egg white but still with yolk). I them cut it all up and mix in crunched up bacon. Eggs give me a stomachache though so I don't eat them often. I do like hardboiled eggs too sometimes. My 2 year old likes her eggs scrambled. She liked the white of a hardboiled egg but she absolutely hates the yolk. She will spit and wipe her tongue off with her hand before she starts crying for me to get every last bit of it out of her mouth! I make sure there isn't a trace of yolk on her hardboiled egg before giving it to her! My husbands favorite eggs are "Deviled Eggs". I don't care for them myself but I will make them for him every once in awhile. I could probably use a couple of egg laying chickens with those two. But, I don't think the base would appreciate it!

I like mine sunny-side up. I remember when we were kids, we had chickens so there was a steady supply of eggs. I don't have kids yet (not married yet :P) but my niece also like sunny side up. My mother would also prepare it scrambled. Sometimes she'll put in some hotdogs, meatloaf, fish, whatever was left over from the previous meal. It would look nasty but would taste wonderful. :)

I almost always make scrambled eggs, but I put different ingredients in them such as green onion, imitation crab, bacon, cheese, ham or even hot dogs. Depends on my mood and what I have on hand. I also like using ranch dressing instead of milk, it gives them more flavor. The scrambled eggs always go further also than individual fried or poached eggs.

What is it with kids and eggs. My son is addicted and he always goes for the scrambled which is the only kind of egg I really like unless the egg is in cake then I don't mind. I make a breakfast casserole every so often which is super easy and tasty. But that is as creative as I get with eggs.
