Weight.....

Do you think wieght matters. Alot of kids my age are always getting all worked up because they gained a pound or something and I really dont think its that big of a deal. Do you think Im wrong to not care what my weight is to a sertain exstent?

I don't think weight really matters in less your weight is effecting your health. Then I think you do need to do something about it... but all young kids who are skinny and freaking out over a lb or 2 do take it too serious and need to chill out. but too many people just get suckered into what they THINK they should look like because of TV and mags and crap. so they freak out

I think your right see im not big I only weight 1:25 and Alot of my friends yell at me because I have a high matablalism and I eat alot but I dont really gain that much ever now and then I gain a lb or 2 but then I lose it again anyways so I dont really freak out about it but anyways thanks for the imput..

I think weight matters in that it can have an effect on your health and general well being. I know that being obese while young can make it harder later in life. However, I've noticed that a lot of young people don't really know how much they should really weigh. A lot of kids put pressure on others, especially girls, to be way too thin. If you are comfortable with your weight, then I wouldn't worry about it if you gain a little now and then. It's more important that you eat healthy and exercise.
