Does anyone know about chihuahuas?

My family has always owned chihuahuas for aslong as I can remember,and a couple weeks ago someone my dad works with said that a chihuahua with a collar was wandering into their yard,they tried to find its owner but noone would claim it,and they were gonna take it to the pound,so my dad decided to bring it home,one of the neighbors saw it,and noticed that it has no hair on its ears and under its chin,she said that there is a special kind of chihuahua that has no hair under it chin or own its ears,and she thinks it starts with a c,does any one know the name of that kind of chihuahua?Or do you know where I can find out?Do you think that some chihuahuas just shed the hair off their ears and under their chin? Or do think that its just a coicidence?We think that it might be mixed with something cause of the length of its body,and the fact that it doesnt shake at all,and its very very friend to anyone it meets,My fiance spent a good bit of time searching the internet, because my mom wants to know what kind of chihuahua it is, and she couldnt find anything about this kind of chihuahua.
