help! How do I open a paypal account?

you need a credit card. I'm not sure but a debit card might work too.

hello allan5d, here is the thing you need to do and know when you want to open an account. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS (which i assume you do) 1. go to www.paypal.com 2. sign up as a new user 3. you can either be a verified or unverified user depends on where you live coz they need to have a valid bank account to use when they check your authenticity. 4. unverified user still gets money from different site they joined like mylot coz all you need to have is an email address and i think you can transfer that money to your bank account but with a fee (not sure) NOW if you want to be a verified user: * make sure you have a bank account of your own and make sure paypal can verify you by that card, you can check if your country (i check your profile and i think philippines allow that) * follow all the steps there to be a verifies user. when i did it i ask for a debit card and they direct me to the process of being a verified user and as simple as that. * make sure you have the copy of your bank account with you coz you will need the routing number and the account number of it. * verification is done manually or online, i suggest that you do it online so you dont have confuse yourself checking which one is sent by paypal to your account and then go back and forth (just a suggestion though) * if you want to ask for a debit card you have to give them 60 days before they can send you one coz they need to make sure your account is active. hope you get your account easy. takecare!

well, u can go to paypal.com and register using only your real identities as written in your ID card or your bank account or your CC. then, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail inbox. you can confirm your account then. you can use your credit card to verify your account. verifying your account is important so you can receive payment, and withdraw your money to your bank account. maybe you can check the complete steps in their FAQ section, to get more information than what i give you in here. a lot of useful and simple information are available there.

all you have to is sign up. make sure that you actually have a valid e-mail address and a valid bank account (you will need this in order to verify your account) then they will deposit a small amount in order to prove thats your account! then your ready to go!
