How expensive to live in Japan?

i ever heard in news that live in Japan is very expensive for foreigners especially in tokyo

well, i heard on the news that Tokyo is the most expensive to live. maybe what makes is expensive is they are consumerism people.we know that many attracting things are there. and honestly, i never live in Tokyo before

Depends where you live actually. If you live in Tokyo it can be expensive if you don't know you're way around. My cousin is now living there and she's making by. You can find some cheap food there. especially if you know where to go.

I would definitely say 'yes' for that question. I had transferred my plane from U.S. to China at Tokyo, the airport. I saw exactly the same "caoch" bag sold at like twice the price more expansive than that in the outlets in U.S. What's more, the snacks or candies are also expensive, plus, they didn't taste good.
