My favourite stroke is backstroke and freestyle I am really good at doing these strokes. I used to swim competitively when I was younger, I trained 10 times a week swimming 10 kilometres a day. My couch use to give me lots of training with backstroke. The hard work payed off I came third in Queensland (my state - Australia) for 200 metres backstroke, it was one of my proudest moments. I also like butterfly. I don't like breastroke, I feel like a frog doing that stroke and I find the stroke too slow. So which is your favourite stroke? Is it dog paddle, lol? Also what age did you first learn to swim? Or have you not learnt to swim yet?

OMG you are very strong minded, that is awful you having to suffer that kind of pain everyday and not be able to work. You are such a positive sweet empathetic person, even after what you have been through you still think of other people's hardships, you an inspiration my friend. Take care of yourself.

I am so sorry to hear that, the accident sounded really serious. Are you in pain now? I think I vaguely remember you mentioning in a discussion a while back that you were in accident I can't quite remember though. I hope you are okay now, take care my friend.

I like the frog style!! I like it because I use a lot of muscles but it is nice and gentle. I started swimming from an eary age but never wanted to be competitive with it. It sounds like you were are a very good swimmer though.

Hey froggie, it does use alot of muscles, especially the inner thighs, which is awesome as those muscles are hard to work out with other forms of exercise.

Hi cupid, freestyle is good stroke to know. I was a professional swimmer not anymore lol, I can still swim good though. I did swimming training from 9 years old till 14 years old, then I quit. I wish I kept it up but got too interested in socialising with friends and got tired of not being able to do anything with friends my life was swimming back then.

Hi snakequeen, it's a shame you didn't keep swimming up, it is really good to learn. I never had that fear of drowning when I first learnt how to swim. That would be frighening being scared of drowning.

Wow, is that 57 seconds for 100 metres, that is awesome time. That beats my best time for freestyle. My best for 100 metres freestyle was 1 min 4 seconds. Congrats!! Do you still swim now?
