President Bush, How do you feel about him?

When 9/11 happened everyone was rooting for Bush because he sent our forces ove there and kicked butt and bombed the place. I heard people say finaly we have a President that has ball's.
But then our men started to die over and over and our country started grieving for our soldier's. and the economy was suffering from the money being spent to fight for our country.
My husbands hates Bush right now, but when he became President he loved him.
I'm proud that we have a President that defends our country and goes after the ones who killed our brothers!
How do you feel about Bush? In the beginning and now that his term is almost up?

It kind of seems like you skipped a page in your post here. Bush sent our forces to Afghanistan and it appeared we were "kicking butt" but then we changed directions and sent troops into Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11 and it was there our troops started to die in such unacceptably large numbers. I wasn't at all happy when Bush was "selected" in 2000 and I'm much less happy with him now. I'm surely not proud of a President who has ruined our reputation throughout the world and has caused so many of our young men and women to die needlessly. Bin Laden is still on the loose, our economy is in worse shape than I ever remember it no matter what the official statistics may say and this war in Iraq seems to have no end in sight. I can't wait until he's gone!
