Ear Trouble!!!!

Ok well to no prevail my son has yet another double ear infection. Poor baby he has got my ears all around. We went to the doctors on Monday and found out they are going to put tubes in his ears. I am nervous of course cause this is something new to me. I had tubes done twice when I was little and I survived. Its just scary knowing its happening to your little bundle of joy. I have to look at the outcome though he has basically had continuous ear infections since he was 6 months so he will feel alot better and maybe he won't miss as much school anymore. My question to all is have your kids had tubes put in? How did they do afterwards? Were you scared to let the doctor do the procedure?
