I have watched movies where some one performs heroic feats of saving others or prevent disasters. I have also read in many self development books about the need to have a mentor who can give guidance, support and advises. I do have people I look up to as mentors, do you have any and what do you consider in considering them a mentor?

I have had many mentors, both in life and in business. Also I have been a mentor to many along the way. My only hero is, and has always been, my Grandfather. Cheers!

I had a mentor! She was very helpful with gardening and music. Any question that I had she would answer if she knew it, and I learned a lot! I recommend that everyone get a mentor of some kind, as we do not have the same kind of families that we used to have!

hm,now i like that part where you said she will answer if she knew,it brings to light that sometimes your mentor may not have an immediate answer but he/she will go all out for you to get an answer so youcan move forward.am happy you ahve someoone who is willing to help.

That was before the internet! Now we can find the answer if we do not know! Quickly sometimes!
