You were on Deal or No Deal and you only had five cases left to open. The current bank offfer is $10,000 and the cases you have left are $20, $150, $4000 $50,000 and 100,000. Would you take the deal or......NO DEAL!!!!!!?? I've been watching this show heaps lately and I see people lose so much money by taking stupid risks. In this situationThere are only two cases that are worth more than your current offer but then again, you have three cases that would be good to knock out and only two to avoid. So what would you do?

If I were in this situation, I would take the bank offer of $10,000. When I know I have a good deal already (even though there's a bigger deal but there's a risk to it), I will immediately step up to the offer. Yeah, people might say that I'd be silly to do that but it's better to be moderate than to be greedy and excessive. There's no shame in saying DEAL because you're winning quite a large sum of money while the audience who will always try to influence the contestant to say NO DEAL are getting none of the sum of money at all. I know a lot of pride comes in saying DEAL or NO DEAL, and I think that's an area where many people falter to the pressure. And when people lose a big sum of money due to taking these risks, they always justify themselves by saying it's OK and that they have nothing to start the game with anyway. Yeah, I agree with that, but that's one big apportunity of getting big money gone because of greed. So final decision, DEAL to me!

I agree with your thinking! 10.000 is a lot of money. Gambling it is just stupid.

Hi coffeeshot! "No Deal!" I would risk to open another case thinking that there are three lower cases against two higher cases so the probability of choosing the lower case is more than 50 %. But it is still a game of chance and luck so I will still cross my fingers and hope to pick the right one. After picking one case, I don't think I can go on if I picked the right one though. haha.. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!
