No Treats After 7pm!!!! Has to be one of the easiest tips I can recommend.

Seriously - this is one of my tips. I have a hard time losing the extra 5 pounds - but after I saw my heavy Step Father lose weight JUST because he stopped eating at night - tried it. In 3 weeks, I lost 7 pounds. Is this typical - probably not - I used to snack all the time - but after I stopped - the pounds dropped. Anyone else try this?

What time do you go to bed? See we normally eat dinner around 5:30 -6, but stay up pretty late. Often until 1am on a work night. I have always thought that this was a good idea especially for people who go to bed at 10pm or so. The key is giving your body at least 4 hours to digest your food before hitting the bed because your metabolism slows down when you sleep.

As a rule, I have heard that you should stop snacking 3 hours before bedtime. I go to bed at 11 usually - so 7 is my cut off time. I guess it depends on the person.
