dog are freind for us , why?

Obviously dogs did used to be wild animals and because of society over the years breeding them as pets they have became adapted to us and see us as a pack leader - that is why they stay with us and are happy by our attention because we treat them in the same way we'd treat any loved one. So they know they have our affections and therefore return it - This is my belief anyways!

yes thanks for the response but the question remains, why dogs are friends to us? I mean, wild animals naturally choose to be away from human beings arent they? Like bears, crocodiles and bees, so why dogs choose to be clinging to us and become our friends?

because they great pets and they so cute and lovable :)
