At what age do you want to get married?

Well I wasn't looking to get married young I did. I met my husband on Oct 17th 2003 the day after my 20th birthday. When I met him I knew he was my one. We have been together since then. We married on July 17th 2004 (I was 20 he was 28). In October of 05 we moved to be near his kids (first relationship) June of 06 we bought our first house and in Dec 06 we had our daughter. I am happy that we married when we did BUT I do see alot of people my age doing things I can't because of being a wife and mother. I am NOT saying that I wouldn't do it again I would. But my advice to any one is to wait a while to get married, have fun, live life, the do the wife / mom thing. You will be happy you waited.

i haven't thought of that...to me it's too early to decide what age to get married...but to tell the truth i want to at 28 or so..

I think it's unhealthy for people to make projections like that. It just sets you up for future disappointments or mistakes. You should just let things like that happen, not try to force them to happen. I never really thought about getting married, it's just not important to me. I think love is something that comes whenever it wants to and you can't try to control or force it. The right time to get married is when you're secure, comfortable and ready to commit yourself to a special person.

25 would be great time to settle down for good and get married have kids and enjoy life to the fullest....i hope you find you partner before you turn 25....good luck!

I think at the age of 22..Well we would never knows if what would really lies there ahead of us...It's only Him Who knows everything....

If I marry at this moment, I cannot concentrate on my career,as I will have to take some burden due to marital obligations..... So i want to marry at the age of 27,after having a good job,or a successful career

I particularly have no specific proper age to consider when getting married. I guess if I got into a relationship and it works out well after a couple of years, feeling comfortable with someone, I might consider marriage, regardless of what age we're already at. But, society has a thing about men being available any time to get married while women seem to adequate an age range that seems preferable to get married. Seems unfair but, its just one of those social expectations. Anyone can get married at any age they want. Its them getting married anyway, no one else. Hmmm, count to think of it, I guess I do have a particular age in considering when to get married but, its not based on my age. It would be based on my partner's, well, in case we do want to have children. I have read or heard, take your pick, that women within the age of 30 to 45 are well suited for giving birth since their reproductive system is well developed and could easily accomodate a developing child. If we'd want to have our first child from our first honeymoon, I guess we'd get married within the age of 30 onwards but, we can always get married and then have children at a later date, perhaps preparing things like earning more which can help the soon to come child. That's just what I think..

I don't exactly know what is the right age for people to get married. I just think that at your age of 24 to 28 is the right time for a good marriage. It's not scientific anyway, some got married by age 18 and some got married by age 32. If you are ready physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially, then I think it's the time to marry if you have the right man given by God to you! A wonderful day.
