Fleas are a common problem for dog and cat owners, and getting them under control NOW will help prevent major flea problems later. Fleas are becoming resistant to the chemicals we use on them, and these chemicals are toxic, building up in the central nervous systems of our pets and potentially causing illnesses or even death. There are ways to control fleas naturally if you get a head start on the problem. For instance, did you know that any mild shampoo is just as effective as chemical flea shampoos? There are also plants like lavender and mint that have natural flea repellant properties. If you'd like to know some other natural methods of controlling fleas, check out this article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/758039/tips_for_natural_flea_control.html
