What's your favorite crafting supply?

Most times I don't have time to do crafts anymore. But, sometimes when I get a minute or two, I like to crochet. It's fun and easy. And, I have a regular pattern that I do and it helps to relax my mind. I've tried cross stitch and that's way too complicated.
So, I guess I'd have to say that crochet yarn is my favorite craft supply. Though I do like collecting charms and buttons and such for scrapbooking and craft projects. That would definitely be in second place
What's your favorite craft supply or craft item that you like to keep around at all times? Please share your crafting passions.

I know how to crochet and do cross stitching but I am not interested. I learned how to crochet from school and cross stitch when my daugther learned about it. I like framing pictures and paintings. It is my hobby I am interested now and I like also painting but I have no artistic inclination.

I actually have a few that are my favorites. I love to crochet, cross stitch, plastic canvas, make jewelry, and I am learning to quilt. The pattern in crocheting that I like the most would have to be the granny square. I guess because, to me, it's the easiest.
