Well I do! For one thing my mom has always interferred like she does with most things in my life. But this time really took the cake. I called her up thinking this was good news. My finacee had moved in with me after us going together for over 3 and half yrs. In Dec 2007 he moved here from another state. Well anyways, we got a pastor to marry us, someone to pay for the license. He is disabled on limited funds, I am unemployed due to my health, my mom has supported me for a while. I had been trying to find a sit down job which here is next to impossible even with 96 college hours and 17 yrs experience from one job. Well she told me thats all fine and dandy but I won't be supporting you like I have been if you marry. Well I called back my pastor crying telling him all about it. And no she doesnt owe me anything but let me cut in here, she gets her moneys worth out of my flesh. Im a slave. I am expected to do her laundry (her special perfect way), my finacee pays for her laundry detergent. I am expected to drive her all over the place even though she knows my limitations due to my health and pain. She is a banshee to be under. And she has told me several times you will never leave me. I OWN YOU. Unless you walk in anothers shoes its hard to judge. I have witnesses to her behavior too, so its not just me. Plus she is abusive to my sister too. So. Here he and I are knowing if we marry we will be on the street literally. So much for her so called Christian manner.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, religion got in the way. I'm Presbyterian, he's Mormon, and we wanted to have both of our religions in the cerimony. Well the Mormons and the Presbyterians would NOT co-oporate, so we had a totally secular wedding in a courtroom. Now, we are going to plan or a cerimony conducted by FRIENDS (no clergy!!!) from BOTH churches, for the blessing and religious part, since we are already legally married in the eyes of the law.
