I have an old Atari. Does anyone still remember those from back in the 80's. I remember we were the first family on the block to get one and I told my Mom I wanted to keep it, since I was the youngest kid. :)

This is a really good discussion, because video games are really important when it comes to everyday life, because they are a good source of fun and enjoyment when you are extremely bored,or when it is really cold or rainy outside and you do not want to leave your house for anything, and I am sure there are some people who prefer the older systems and still have a bunch of them, while others got rid of their old systems to get newer systems, and I can understand how peoples preferences differ from person to person, that is really cool that you have a Super Nintendo, and I wish you the best of luck on getting your NES with powerpad, and when it comes to me and my fiance,we have a Nintendo 64 which is the oldest system we have and we still play it very often,I used to have a Sega Genesis many years back, but I sold it,but we have Nomad which plays Sega games so we still have several Sega Genesis games that we play on the Nomad, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I still have old Atari and I remember my dad bought it for me in 1985. Its still working but I can not have any new games for it. I only have a few games. Besides Atari, I also have Commodore 64 which came after Atari and Super Nintendo. There is joystick and powerpad with Commodore 64 and its games are graphial but not that graphical as compared to today's games. It was released in 1987 and its only one draw back is that its games take about 40 to 45 minutes to load.

The oldest system I have is a NES. It is not the first gaming system I got, as my first console was a N64, but I later bought all the Nintendo console systems. They all still work, except the N64, although I mostly just play on the Wii these days.

Well, I don't use my Atari 2600, because I can't find the joystick controllers. I still play my NES and it's in great working condition!

The oldest gaming system I own that actually works is the Sega Dreamcast. I got it from my brother and he only bought it because of the Powerstone II game.
