How many of you believe in blackmagic? Have you had any real life experiences that made you believe? I for one am neither a believer nor a disbeliever.

Yup, some strange things go on in the world don't they. When I lived in Florida, a lot of my friends came from Haiti. One of my good friends caught another man "fiddling" around with his girlfriend..if you know what I mean. So he went to see an old woman who was supposed to have special powers. I sorta laughed at him..."wasting your money" but he went to see her anyway. I forget what he was supposed to do, bring her something that belonged to the "fiddler"..hair of head, article of clothing??..I KNOW! I KNOW! but I ain't making this up..REALLY!! This was a big secret between the old lady and my friend. Anyway, THE NEXT DAY Fiddler was walking down the street, large as life, when all of a sudden he fell flat on his face, eyes rolling around..sometimes all you could see were the whites of his eyes. He started foaming (lots of foam) at the mouth, and then he started wiggling and crawling around on the ground. His family came and took him home, and they had to restrain him for three days, but the man was getting sicker every day. The family had an idea what was going on..even about the girlfriend..as they were from Haiti also. No doctor or anyone could do anything for the man, so the family approached my friend. After much questioning and a long discussion they all went to see the old lady. Money changed hands, and in a few days Fiddler was back on his feet and back to work. (He worked for my friend harvesting fruit in the groves) They use to talk as before, and there was NEVER any mention of the "spell" or the girlfriend who my friend later married. Some of the locals said the lady put "the snake spell" on Fiddler. Believe it or not I saw it happen 34 years ago, and I will never forget it. A few more crazy things happened to me in Mexico and in India, but that's another story that few people would believe.

I too want to believe the same but unfortunately the situation I am in right now does not give me the strength tro believe that. Rather I am inclined to believe that there IS something about it :(

Personally I have never seen black magic in action and I think allot of stories about black magic are instances of either over active imaginations or people who are quite sad and are using it to play dirty tricks on the weakminded. However, as I get older, I've become more willing to accept that not everything in life can be explained by a scientific and rational reason. I've also lived in Asia and I've come accross quite a few things. I believe that certain people are blessed with certain powers that one might be able to call magic. However, I think it is a case of magic not being evil (black or white) but the way in which we use magic that is good or evil. There are people who use magic for evil purposes - there are cases of mistresses cursing wives and visa-versa or people who cast spells on their business and political rivals - within the a few days of the spell casting, the cursed person usually suffers from something quite nasty and medically baffling. Having said that, there are an equal number of people who are supposed to be able to protect you from the dark stuff. In Asia, its usually Hindu or Buddhist monks but this is not restricted to Eastern religions. Christianity has priest who deal with excorcisms and other areas of the occult. I'm no expert, I can't tell you what to do if you are under "Black Magic." You probably need to look for a genuine expert in the area, which is hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for. Genuine practitioners are not easy to locate. The world is filled with con-men and women willing to sell you this and that trinket for this and that curse. But keep searching and you may find what you are looking for.
