Do you buy stuff for others???

I must admit I am the same as you, I went shopping a while ago and got a couple of bits and then got my son a few bits and then got my hubby some stuff, it was all on sale so I didn't spend a fortune (£20 for 7 items) but I felt so bad that I was gona go home with stuff for me and not my son and hubby I just felt I had to get them something!! I know its crazy but thats just my way! I think is is ok to shop for yourself without getting anyone else anything but personally I feel bad when I do that although I don't know why as I know that if they went shopping then they would be fine if they just got themselves something, maybe its a girl thing!!! LOL

Of course it's ok to buy things for yourself without buying anything for anyone else. I usually don't buy things for other people whenever I go shopping unless I see something that I think they'll really, really want and I know they'll get a lot of good use out of it. If your son needed some clothes then I say it was a good buy, but you shouldn't feel like you need to do it all the time.

The olny time I usualy shop for others is around holidays and birthdays, and of course for my sons. sometimes I will get something for someone else that is not that big of a deal and I think they would enjoy it.

Yes, sometimes I buy stuff for my siblings or boyfriend but not all the time. It feel so good when they appreciate it so much! Cheers!

Hi devil77, in my opinion, you no need to feel bad for not buying anything for your son. Is not your fault as maybe you can't find any clothes that suit him. However, shopping is not just for the clothes only. Next time, maybe you can drop by those candy stalls and buy him some chocalate or biscuit.
