Baked Beans with Bacon

In my family, we make our baked beans baked in the over with slices of precooked bacon on top and it's tastes sooo good. My fiancee moved in with us and thought this was insane because he's never heard of it. So do any of you mylotters do this??

We never really ate that when I lived at home in New York, but then I moved to Texas and my boyfriend showed me. It tastes good, it's just different from what we eat. Beans aren't that big in my families diet...Not in New York anyway..

Really, maybe it's more of an upstate New York thing. I live waaay upstate and everyone around here eats them like that at barbeques!

yes, i always put bacon slices on top of my baked beans. i don't precook it because it seasons the beans as they cook.
