Parents are busy.....which one would you do if you could. Sending your child to day care center or taking care of them by yourself or parents? Is day care dangerous in many ways?

i totally understand how some parents dont like the idea of daycare but kids do need to interact with other children however i still like to have my kids at home with me watching them. i worked at a daycare for awhile and learned how much it helps your kids learn i had 4 year olds im my class reading and writing their name. for me the best option is to have a mommys group if you can and have the kids interact with others that way and or you can work at a daycare like i did and have the children with you or work only part time and have more time for your children.

Home care definately. I like knowing what's going on with my children at all times. I don't want someone else telling me what my child has done. The only good thing about daycare is the interaction with other children. I believe it's dangerous anytime you let your children out of eyesight, these days especially.

Yes,they are dangerous in way!It all depends on who you can trust or whether or not they are forreal about being there for your babies or just fronting to get that money either from you or the govn't,you know.If my parents are too busy to be bothered,I'd rather be there for them by myself.Better safer than sorry, you know.

Leaving your child in any child care setting can leave a parent feeling uneasy. It's best to know the history of any child care provider before you leave your child there. I know in WA state parents have access to all the complaint history for licensed providers. Not everyone knows that its available. Good post though.

My husband works 40 hours w week, and I just got a part time job, between 15 and 30 hours a week. I have stayed home for the most part for 8 years. I only had one other part time job. We cant afford daycare, and I dont have anyone around who can watch the kids for us, we have 3. So we have to just work out our schedules to where one of us can be home to watch the kids. Every now and then we have to call a family member to watch them, but not often. I dont know if daycares are dangerous in any way, but I prefer to have one of us watch them or a close family member. To me I just dont know anyone I trust 100% to watch my kids. You just cant tell with some people what they might do anymore.

Have to salute to you! I hope your kids grow to be best in the future. I am from a relatively similarly tough life family (have to work hard and that's ok with me) but now am doing alright....tough situation can be a better learning base for kids to develop. Wish you all the best.
