All about how we deal with change... Do you avoid it or seek it?

I tend to find a place and root in it until I get forced to move... I have lived in the same apartment for 13 years and plan to remain there. I was working at a part-time position for the last two years and planned to remain there but now the clinic is closing and I have to find another position...
I don't like the fact that I have to have this change...
A friend of mine has moved so many times since I have known her that I have lost count. If she does not move to another apartment, she moves to another job. She handles change very well...
What are you like? Do you seek changes in residence and in jobs often or do you hang on for dear life once you find something?
What advice can you give for how to better deal with job and other life changes?

I am glad that you were able to go with your kids as I am sure that they liked that.

I dont seek out change in any areas of my life UNLESS its needed and beneficial to not only myself but also my kids and I really dont necessarily like or dislike change....However I do handle it very well...I adapt very easily but I htink thats because I have had to so many times in so many areas throughout my life ya know...
