Any and all info on Maltese and Chihuahuas?

i want to get one as pet thank you

Maltese make wonderful pets. They do not shed a lot and they are very friendly. However as all small dogs go they can be harder to potty train as they are harder to keep track of. I have a maltipoo (Maltese poodle mix) and I adore her. She was harder to train because it wasn't obvious when she snuck off somewhere to "do her business". Chihuahua's are good pets also...but same situation there for small dogs. Also remember if you have young children a small dog may not work well in your home. Children don't necessarily mean to hurt them...just a five pound dog is easily hurt if someone falls or steps on it...or if they even push it off the couch.
