Students who pleads to have their FAILing grade changed to PASS.

I am a College Instructor and I do sometimes give a failing grade. I am bothered about students who come to you and plead their case and have their grades changed from FAIL to a PASSing mark. I usually have 2 or 3 students doing this per year and an beginning to get tired of it. In your case how do you deal with this problem???
