Do you sit around trying to come up with new discussions?

I've been wracking my brain all morning to come up with a new discussion that I could post here. However, I was coming up short. Nothing sounded like it would be a good idea to post. Nothing seemed like the right topic for the moment, until I thought about posting this. I never write my discussion ideas down either. I just post them as soon as I think of them because I'm usually pretty close to a computer, however that is not always the case, but I like to think I have a pretty good memory. Do you sit around trying to come up with new discussions? Do you keep track of them or try to post them as soon as they come to mind?

If anyway possible I will try to post the discussion as soon as I think of it, but if I am where I can't I will write it down and do it asap. I am thinking of keeping a small notebook with me to jot down ideas as I am away from the house. I have a hard time thinking of things to start discussions but when I am house cleaning or something sometimes good ideas or questions may pop in my head and I will start a discussion.

When I was new here, I sit in front of my PC and wait til I got something in my head to post. But now, when I really have nothing, I start discussing to other posts. Whenever I have something in my I post it right away -- well that if my PC is ready but if not, I just write it down on paper.

I don't really sit down and spend time thinking of what discussions I'm going to start. Normally, when an idea struck me as good, just like you, i just immediately post it. Sometimes, I would be away from a PC, so I try to keep it on hold until I get a chance to be in front of a computer. With too many topics already being talked about here, it's hard to start something new. I used to search a topic before I start a new one, trying not to post a duplicate. However, I realized some of those topics are already buried, so I just start a new one. Well, good luck to your thinking of more discussion topics. I'm sure you will get plenty of inspiration.

I don't usually sit at the computer trying to think of discussions to post. If I happen to think of a topic and I'm near my computer and not busy, I'll sit down and write it. But I don't try to hard to think up discussions. I've kind of tried to come up with some before that I really wasn't that proud of, and they didn't get a lot of responses as a result.

Some times I can get to the computer, but I haven't started writing discussion ideas - yet. I have considered doing it a few times when I had an idea but lost it when I got to the computer. I have always managed to get the ideas back, but sometimes it has taken a while.

I have this problem too. So what I do is to go in discussion without responds and see if there is anyone that caught my eyes and respond to it. Sometimes there are some very good topics and then you don't bother to make a new discussion.

Nah, I don't do that. I do that when I am doing other things. You know, you can even think of new topics while showering or brushing your teeth! I still have tons of topics stored in my email... no "time" to post those discussions yet.

I think we all have days when we can't come up with new ideas. Its either already been touched upon, might offend someone, seems mundane or whatever the case might be. I don't write them down and often forget them by the time I get to a computer. Its hard to come up with things that you think everyone can relate to.

I always come up with loads of ideas, usually when I am in bed at night time, of course I am not near a computer then and I never have a pen and paper with me. So when I wake up in morning the idea has gone!! I try to post the ones I think of during the day if I can as soon as I think of them, but although I have a pretty good memory I do forget a lot of them.

Well, a couple of times I have come on here and thought about starting up a new discussion, but then decided not too. I really can't think of any thing new to talk about, and there are always somany different links on the side of the page that I can just comment on other peoples discussions, so I don't find any need to make a new one.

I always this kind of experience. Along the way, while driving my motorcycle or just in the office. I sometimes pause for some time and think of a new topic to post. But sometimes, all that I was composing in my mind goes nothing when I reach my computer to start writing. It's a good thing for you that you always have your computer...
