Salam .... What is Matricultaion?

I need help could any one explain to me what is Matric ?
I am planning to go to Institute and I saw the requirment of the admission is Minimum Qualification Matric & Matric appeared .

Hi welcome to mylot. Matriculation is the contract between you and the Institute and in this you agree with the Institute rules and the Institute place your rights. To matriculate yourself in the Institute (or other college) you need to have at less a minimum of qualifications like High School completed or similar. I don't know the qualifications that this Institute ask for, maybe is better you ask them if it isn't in the requirment. Matric is the same that matriculation.
