Spanish learning

Recently I'm learning Spanish and am still a beginner.Sometimes I find it much more complicated than English, While it has no such flexible way in expressing ideas as in English, thus it's simpler in this way.But I really have met some difficulties in listening comprehension. Are you learning it now or have you learned it before? If yes, do you have any experience you would like to share with others, or do you have any good suggestions to learn it?

I'm a language major at school (in Spanish and Italian, with some French and Irish thrown in). I've found that watching the home shopping channel in other languages helps me to learn them, because it's really easy to figure out what they are talking about (presumably, it's what they are trying to sell). That's how I learned a lot of French.

Well, Thanks for your suggestion. But I don't think there's any home shopping channels in other languages in china. In fact, there's only one English channel as for foreign languages channel for common family. But thank you for your good idea anyway.

I live in South America, i speak spanish and i am learning chinese. Spanish is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Too many verbs and time sentences, but if you need to practice, i can help you. Listening Comprehension it's hard on every language, you must keep practice. visit www.tn.com.ar This is a local TV news channel, transmiting online. There you can practice your listening comprehension. Take care

Yes, listening in the language will be something difficult because you may not understand how they're talking and you may not get the words. I would suggest listening to the radio to get used to listening in Spanish. How about http://www.lax1031.net/ it's one of my favorite radio stations in Spanish. Que tengas buen día Pablo

I love Spanish. You may say it is a little complex than English. But Spanish is more easy to learn in terms of its pronunciation. And the pronunciation of Spanish is beautiful.I think you can listen more at the begining. And there are many beautiful Spanish songs which we can listen to practise our listening.

Yeah, you're right. the pronunciation is simple. After beginning to learn this language, I searched Internet on Spanish songs and a lot of wonderful ones came out, songs that I loved so much later like donde estan corazon, yo te amo, bailamos, escapar, ojos asi..., and I really got into these singers including enrique Iglasias, chayanne.

Yes, recent years, the Spanish-speaking countries are playing more and more important roles over the global. So many nations use it as their mother language. So I want to learn it,but in fact, I don't know when it will be useful for me. at least, I can use it nowhere.

I speak Spanish because I am from Chile, but I think it's more difficult to learn Spanish than English (it's my opinion), obviously it depends on the ability of the one who is learning, but I said the previous because I've seen Spanish-speaking people speaking English with English-speaking people, and if the Spanish-speaker doesn't tell the other guy that he is a Spanish-speaker, the English-speaker would never know. But I have never seen the opposite. :B well that is my opinion, I love seen appreciate Spanish as I do with English : ) (sorry if I've made some mistakes, but I have never take classes of English, I'm still a beginner)

Thank you for reply.I think English has a more flexible way to convey your idea than Spanish. I don't know whether it's right or not 'cause I am still a beginner for Spanish. I have been looking for a Spanish-speaking friend for a long time, and now I got you! Hope we can become friends!
