Best Game for Gaming Consoles

what is the best game for you for a gaming console that you had or currently have? you have to name the game & the gaming console you used or you're using to play it with. i don't care if it's atari, nes, snes, ps1, xbox, gamecube, dreamcast, nintendo wii, etc. i just want to have an idea on how different games & gaming consoles evolved from pacman in atari to grand theft auto 4 in ps3.

Its hard to say cause all my life I only play in play station either 1 or 2. I cannot compare them with their rival, xbox, nintendo wii etc. But I love grand theft auto though and sadly haven't try the grand theft auto 4. still waiting for PS 3 to become cheaper. 
My other favorite are: RPG Final fantsay series. I play them since they were in PS 1. What a wonderful RPG series, not to mention they had one of the breathtaking scenes.
